CNC Machinist A leading manufacturer of custom hermetic feedthrus and packages for the RF, Microwave Markets. We are seeking a full time 1st shift CNC Machinist to program and operate our HAAS CNC equipment. This position generates CNC programs from dxf, dwg and industry standard CADD programs. Qualified candidates will have: Experience programming AlphaCam and SmartCam CAD/CAM software. Proficiency setting up equipment with HAAS CNC controller format. Experience setting up and operating vertical 3-axis CNC milling machines with emphasis on 4th axis positional. Proficiency reading engineering drawings and comprehending basic GD&T; callouts. Experience machining materials such as aluminum, stainless steels and nickel based alloys. Experience designing tooling and fixtures. Minimum 5 years machining experience. Ability to set-up and operate CMM (vision system) a plus Experience with Cincinnati Arrow/Siemens controls a plus. Selecting and running programs to control machining or processing of parts by automatic machine tools, equipment, or systems. This includes planning and preparing the operation including review of three-dimensional computerized engineering diagrams (blueprints), calculating where to cut or bore into the workpiece, how fast to feed the metal into the machine, and how much metal to remove. The CNC programmer also selects tools and materials for the job and plans the sequence of cutting and finishing operations.
