This position is a hybrid of remote and on-site work:
At least 5 hours of on-site working per week to meet with colleagues, verify documents, organize files, etc.
A consistent designated day is required.
7-14 remote hours per week.
The Bookkeeper/Financial Assistant oversees the project's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, daily financial entries and reconciliations.
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
Maintains accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Balances accounts by reconciling entries Maintains historical records of invoices and transactions by filing documents Oversees and renews vendor contracts.
Processes payments.
Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Sends monthly Profit & Loss report to the Owner's Borad.
Send out invoices & deposits check or cash income.
Oversees budget control by monitoring hiring decisions, renovation approvals and optimizing vendors.
Keeps and updates employee's profiles.
Submit payroll details to CPA.
Collaborate with CPA and offer assistance of document collection for tax purpose.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles - Proficiency in general ledger accounting and double-entry bookkeeping - Familiarity with accounting software and systems (e.
g.
, QuickBooks, Xero) - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Strong analytical skills for financial analysis and reporting Job Types:
